Started in 2005, UIC (Urban Improvement Company) began with a mission to defy conventional architectural design and the construction process as a whole. Basically, how buildings were created and how they were built.
UIC’s roots are in architecture and design and it informs everything the company does. Co-founders and Principals Brent Crittenden and Sarah Gibson both entered the building profession as architects and worked with some of the most talented and highly recognized designers in the world. In UIC’s design studio, the award-winning team continually strives to create an exceptional design with a focus on implementation and the long term life of the homes they build.
Through their disciplined modern design vision, UIC quickly grew into the leader of contemporary residential development across St. Louis, transforming entire communities from once dilapidated, vacant structures to now thriving neighborhoods.
